The fight for gay rights is something that has been an
endless fight that began in 1924. During that time the first gay right
organization was called "The Society for Human Rights." Now in day the
biggest well know gay right organization is better known as the LBGT
community which stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender.
Groups like that are built so that no one ever feels alone in this
world. There are community activities from study hall, to open lab and
even wellness. It is a beautiful community that comes together and love
each other as well as love the world equally. You may ask yourself, how
can you hate someone who only wants to give love, the answer might not
surprise you. The United States has always been a country to change and
acceptance. Even though we as a country accept many things there are
still other fish in the sea that do not agree. One of the very first
thing you read when you open the webpage found below it states” Where
everyone is celebrated for who they are. The Center is the heart and
home of NYC's LGBT community, providing programs for health, wellness
and community connection.”, that is such a strong and true statement.
